About
Catherine is a Sydney-based fine art photographer whose practice is profoundly informed by a lifelong engagement with the visual arts. With over a decade of experience and an international portfolio spanning more than twenty cities across the world, Catherine approaches image-making as a discipline rooted in both technical precision and artistic expression.
Trained in 35mm documentary film photography and formally educated in Art History, her work is characterised by a refined, painterly sensibility that draws heavily from the aesthetics of Baroque, Rococo and Modernist painting traditions. Her photographs are carefully composed to evoke atmosphere, emotion, and timeless beauty.
Catherine has contributed behind-the-scenes and B-roll coverage for Vogue and GQ in London and has collaborated with avant-garde photographic artists in Australia. Her work is unified by a distinct visual language: one that bridges classical influences with contemporary narratives, always seeking to elevate the everyday into something enduring and poetic.
